Committed to social responsibility
At Streetside, we’re committed to social responsibility and empowering the communities we work and live within.
For us, that goes beyond providing community seating and other public infrastructure or assisting local businesses with their outdoor advertising strategies.
We believe in social responsibility and we demonstrate that whenever possible by:
- Providing work opportunities for disability enterprises
- Donating free advertising to not-for-profit (NFP) organisations
- Promoting community, safety and health messages
- Encouraging employees to support local sport
- Recycling and re-using materials and using recycled products
Opportunities for disability enterprises
Since 1990, we’ve been working with disability enterprises to manufacture our seats here in WA.
Goodwill Engineering provide on-site support and training for their employees to help them develop work skills and maintain their employment.
Charities and Not-for-Profit organisations
We give charities and NFP organisations a free platform in the community to reach out to people, educate them or raise awareness about their work.
We regularly donate seat ads to organisations like Salvation Army, Road Wise, RSPCA, Geraldton Regional Aboriginal Medical Services, Quit Smoking, and Wazzap Youth Events.
As well as donating advertising space, we also give back by supporting charities such as:
Free targeted campaigns for local governments
We feel it’s important to support the Local Governments we work with too. That’s why we allocate free advertising space to promote community events, road safety or health messages.
These targeted campaigns promote a specific message and are strategically placed in locations where they will deliver the most impact.
Supporting community sport
Outside work, our employees remain committed to enriching the lives of our local communities.
Our team members are active in the following local sports organisations:
