Rod’s vision to launch advertising-funded public furniture in WA is where it all started back in 1981. His diverse career was excellent preparation for the blend of practical application and business skills needed to become a successful entrepreneur in the 1980s.

Rod’s previous roles include State Works and Production Manager for Australian Posters – one of Australia’s largest outdoor advertising companies. He was also a Production Manager for a BHP-owned steel fabricator. Along the way, he gained wide experience in the field of sales and marketing.

Rod has worked tirelessly for nearly four decades to build a family business that’s helped improve the lives and landscape of WA communities. His role as one of Streetside’s directors keeps him pretty busy, but he always makes time for product design and contract negotiation.
